The ESSE 500 hot plate has a solid top with a gradient heat, what this means is the middle is the hottest part, with the plate getter cooler towards the outside. This allows you to control your pots from a hard boil to a gentle simmer by simply moving them across the top.

The ESSE 500 hot plate is just that…a hot plate. You can seal off the perfect steak directly on the plate.

The ESSE 500 is more than just a small wood stove. The stunning heat this unit can give is amazing, just open the outer door to allow the stove to heat up to 60m2. For the days you don’t want heat, simply shut the enamel door to trap the heat within the firebox.
